Most office management departments are unaware of the features of office furniture that impact the productivity of their employees. Unlike when buying furniture for the home, they make random furniture selections for the workplace. Moreover, they have no knowledge about the various types of furniture available in the market.

I agree that office furniture is a big investment. I think ergonomics should always be the main focus of that investment. You want your employees to be happy and healthy while at work.
Thanks for pointing out that it would be best to know what pieces would promote productivity when it comes to buying office space furniture. I can imagine how having the right height and comfort of one chair can help an office worker to face their computer or laptop for the whole day. It would also be healthy for their body if they are sitting in the right posture, so I agree that it should be considered well before making a decision.

I find it interesting that acquiring proper office furniture can boost the morale of your workforce. My friend talked about how he wants to build a remote work office during this pandemic. I'll be sure to relay this information to him so he can visit a furniture store for this plan.
