Where the DXRacer NewEdge really excels is wire management (an obsession for every true gamer), allowing you to neatly tuck away every wire you need to. We also like the 10 degree slope of the desktop, which provides a cool look, and an ergonomic layout (which is really important for extended gaming sessions).

The structure of the DXRacer NewEdge Edition is unique, offering an attractive, triangular base which offers a feeling of openness without sacrificing strength or stability. The feet at the bottom of the desk rotate, allowing you to fine-tune the base of the desk to be absolutely stable for your unique seated position. The stability impressed us a lot since this desk only weighs 70 pounds total, something which could seem like a weakness (we’re hesitant to mount expensive monitors and gaming components on a lightweight desk).

The actual desktop is not as nice to use as that of Arozzi’s Arena, but the cable management is arguably better. Overall it is an excellent desk option for gamers, and it easily made our top 10 list.

An inexpensive, modern-looking L-shaped desk for gaming.
A sleek, well-appointed corner desk in a L-Shaped configuration that provides gamers with plenty of space for PC monitors, a laptop, snacks, and anything else they might want. The Office Star Prado is a great buy for under $300, offering a 60" by 66" workstation setup with sturdy metal legs and a laminate top that we would describe as "just ok."

The desk’s top is a particle board covered in laminate, and while the laminate top is nice, we found it had a tendency to de-laminate because the particle board is of lower quality than many of the other desks on this list. This makes the desk more susceptible to damage in shipping, or under heavy use.

Still, we like the simple design of this desk (which comes in either black or white), allowing it to blend seamlessly into any decor, and match well with most gaming rigs. Many customers also purchase a rolling file cabinet or set of drawers to add storage to this desk. The Prado includes 2 metal wire management grommets in the desk, which is a nice feature at this price-point. But with no desk back or privacy screen you’ll have to be really tidy to make your cable management excellent, and you may have to purchase some additional items to keep it clean.

The HomCom gaming desk weighs just 65 pounds, making it one of the lighter offerings on our computer gaming desk list, but when positioned in the corner of your room, the walls offer added stability, and most owners reported that the desk was quite sturdy. We liked that this desk offers a steel frame (which is well made), and that there’s a dedicated spot for your CPU tower on the rear center leg.

Our "no brainer" pick for best value, the BHG Gaming Desk is the best desk for PC gaming under $100. Modern, lightweight, and attractive (for this price), the cheap gaming desk from BHG is constructed of tubular metal and MDF, but is surprisingly sturdy.

Users report being surprised by the amount of usable space on this desk (the desk top is 50" wide), which seems to take up little space in their office, bedroom, or dorm room, and 97% of online reviews rated this simple black gaming desk at 4 or 5 stars.

Many Amazon reviewers included photos of their gaming setup with the BHG desk comfortably supporting multiple monitors, peripherals, and gaming towers (which surprised even us ... it's hard to believe a 37 pound desk can safely support that much hardware).
